Currently serving as the Director of CARE (Centre of Advanced Education for Executive) and Professor in Entrepreneurship & Strategic Management at University Geomatika Malaysia (UGM), he plays a pivotal role in shaping the minds of future business leaders. Additionally, his role as the Coordinator of Industrial Linkages & Collaborations for Lincoln University College, Malaysia, and as a Professor at the Center of Life Long Learning - CENTEL, underscores his dedication to fostering academic excellence and industry partnerships.

A Journey of Experience:

Before embarking on his academic journey, Prof. Bidin spent close to two decades honing his skills in banking and finance. Rising through the ranks to become a senior officer and eventually a branch manager, he garnered invaluable experience that would later inform his academic endeavors. This unique blend of practical experience and scholarly insight positions Prof. Bidin as a formidable force in bridging the gap between theory and practice.

Educational Attainment:

Prof. Bidin's academic journey is as impressive as it is diverse. Armed with a Diploma in Banking from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) and a Bachelor of Science in Finance with Honors from Northern Illinois University (NIU), USA, he laid the foundation for his future success. Subsequently, he pursued higher education with unwavering determination, earning a Doctorate of Business Administration (Entrepreneurial Leadership and Best Business Practices) from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and a Master of Business Administration (Economics and Management) from Western Illinois University (WIU), USA.

As a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (FCILT) at The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) International, UK, Prof. Bidin's expertise in logistics and transport management is widely acknowledged and respected. His contributions to education and research have earned him appointments at esteemed institutions such as Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), and Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK), where he continues to inspire and mentor the next generation of leaders.

A Vision for Development:

Hailing from Sri Aman, Sarawak, Prof. Bidin's passion for knowledge and innovation is deeply rooted in his upbringing. His unwavering commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and economic development in Sarawak led to his secondment as State Director at the Bumiputera Entrepreneurial Development Unit, Chief Minister’s Office, Sarawak, in 2008/2009. This experience further fueled his desire to effect positive change and drive sustainable growth in his homeland and beyond.
