• Apply for a Saudi Electronic Tourist Visa (e-Visa) – cost: SAR 395 per person.
• This visa is ideal for DIY Umrah (no mutawwif/guide required) and allows travel throughout Saudi Arabia.

While the bus from Madinah to Makkah is cheaper,  the Haramain High-Speed Train is highly recommended. It’s faster (~2.5 hours), runs frequently and allows you to wear Ihram on board as Miqat is announced during the journey. Book early for the best fares!

Day 1: Departure

• Fly from Kuala Lumpur (KUL) to Jeddah (JED).

Day 2: Arrival in Saudi & Transfer to Madinah

• Arrive Jeddah Airport (04:30). Take shuttle/taxi to main bus terminal.
• Board NWBus to Madinah (07:45 or 10:45).
• Check in to hotel. Visit Masjid Nabawi and Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah, perform prayers and send salutations to the Prophet (SAW).
