Why I Wrote This Book

Some might be surprised to know that my journey into writing didn’t begin with travel, hospitality, or even entrepreneurship. Instead, it started in the commercial division of a bank—drafting, editing, and re-editing loan papers, often having to rewrite documents multiple times before they made it to the loan committee. My days were filled with words, clauses, and corrections. It was a rigorous environment that demanded precision, clarity, and endless perseverance.

I attended numerous English courses organized by the bank, all in the hope of sharpening my writing skills for business. But along the way, I discovered something unexpected: a true love for writing. What started as a professional necessity soon became a personal passion—a way for me to make complex topics accessible and to connect with others beyond the confines of financial reports.

While I may not be running a homestay business myself, my background in analysis and structured thinking inspired me to share what I’ve learned.
