The Borneo Cultures Museum is located in the center of Kuching next to Padang Merdeka of Jalan Tun Abang Haji Openg, 93400 Kuching, Sarawak.

This five-storey structure aims to be more than just a museum; it aspires to be a dynamic hub for social and cultural exchange.

Upon entering the museum, visitors are greeted by a range of facilities on the ground floor, including an auditorium, function rooms, a reception counter, restaurant, and shop. These amenities cater to various needs and contribute to the vibrant atmosphere of the museum.

Level two houses the Children's Gallery and the Arts and Crafts Gallery. The Children's Gallery offers an interactive learning experience for young visitors, with a focus on sustainability and the importance of rivers. Meanwhile, the Arts and Crafts Gallery provides opportunities for visitors to learn traditional craftsmanship, dances, and music.

The largest gallery, spanning 2,188 square meters, occupies level three. Here, the theme "In Harmony With Nature" takes center stage, exploring the relationship between local communities and the natural environment. Through immersive exhibits, visitors embark on a river journey through three geographical regions, offering multi-sensory experiences.

Level four is dedicated to the "Time Changes" exhibition, which takes an educational approach. This gallery caters to school groups and covers topics from Sarawak's history curriculum. It also showcases archaeological discoveries, tracing Sarawak's history from prehistoric times to the present day.

Finally, on level five, visitors encounter the "Objects of Desire" gallery, featuring Sarawak's finest material culture. This gallery highlights artifacts renowned for their skilled craftsmanship, divine designs, and status symbolism, allowing visitors to admire their artistic beauty up close.
